Nissan Repair: Brakes on 2000 Nissan Frontier, nissan frontier, cylinder replacement

Question
I have a 2000 Frontier my brakes are usually pretty sensitive and lately I noticed a change. So i have recently changed the front brakes, the rear is fine. After doing so my brakes still went to the floor. I changed my master cylinder thinking that is the problem the truck has over 110,000 miles on it. But the problem still exists. Do you know of anything else I have over looked to make the brakes go to the floor? Or did I just get a bad master cylinder.

Answer
Megan,

If you changed the master cylinder and the brakes still go to the flooe you might be looking at a bad master cylinder replacement or a bad job at bleeding the system. I would check to make sure the brakes were bled properly. Also, use Ford High Performance Brake Fluid to make sure you have good brake pedal feel.
