Nissan Repair: 1993 Nissan SX Transmission,Odometer,panel lights, local wrecking yards, blown fuses

Question
Automatic transmission sometimes won't change into 2nd.  I can  pull over stop engine then it will change, also can't find any blown fuses but no panel lights or odometer function. Help please.

If the transmission is shifting intermittently I would change the fluid and filter and see if that frees things up.  Also a diagnostic test on the computer will tell if the car has a set code on the transmission.  Check out Autozone or Checker to get a free code reading.  On the instrument lights it will either be the dimmer on the dash or the headlight switch itself.  The odometer probably has a broken gear so that would have to be replaced.  Check out the local wrecking yards for a cluster.
