i have a 97 Nissan hardbody is there any adjustment for the clutch?

The clutch is hydraulic and is not adjustable.  If the clutch works but it is difficult to get it to release that would probably be the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder.  Check the clutch fluid and see if it is leaking down and check at the bellhousing where the slave resides.  If you lift up on the rubber boot there might be clutch fluid that is leaking out.  If this is the case replace the part and bleed the clutch system.  I like Ford High Performance Brake Fluid since it has twice the boiling point and makes your pedal action excellent.  It is DOT3 and will work with the truck.
