Answer
Jerry,

Airbags are dangerous if they go off while working on them and they can kill you.  I wanted to say that up front before explaining how to get the airbag off.  Yours has torx bolts that hold the airbag to the steering wheel.  I take no responsibility for your safety so if you have not done work on an airbag before you might want to take it to a shop.  WHen I lived in Los Angeles people were stealing airbags and every now and then you would hear of someone getting killed by getting their neck broke when it went off.  You have to follow the directions exactly to keep from setting the unit off.

1.  disconnect the battery
2.  remove the airbag fuse
3.  remove the lower knee bolster under the steering wheel
4.  wait five minutes from when you removed the fuse and then disconnect the airbag connector to the column.  It is a Yellow wire and it is marked.
5.  now that the power to the airbag as been discharged you need to remove the two bolts from the back of the wheel to get the airbag off.
6.  stay out of the way as in do not have the airbag pointing at you at any time.
7.  disconnect the harness and find a safe place, out of the way and set the airbag face up so if it goes off it does not launch anywhere.  Most shops have a cage they put them in to keep things safe.  Remember this is explosive as in sodium azide and it can kill you and the gas can burn you.
8.  installation is the reverse of removal and this is especially true for the connectors and powering the system.  Do not hook up the battery of the fuse or the harness prior to installing the airbag and when you hook everything up do the harness, fuse and then the battery.  If you disconnect the airbag with power to the system it could go off and you will also set a code with the computer that monitors the airbag system.
