Nissan Repair: need help!!, mass airflow sensors, mass airflow sensor

my 2001 sentra, has loss of power when i accelerate. I checked the spark plugs, air filter, what else can it be? i wanted to check the fuel filter but i was told that it is located in the gas tank.

The fuel filter is in the tank and is not really a filter and is just a sock.  The possibility that it is the fuel filter is remote.  I would check for engine codes.  Does the check engine light come on?  If so, take it to Autozone or Checker for a free scan.  They will let you know what the code is.  If no check engine light then I would be looking at a plugged converter or even a mass airflow sensor.  You car is known to have issues with mass airflow sensors.  So, check it out and let me know what you find.
