Nissan Repair: 95 Nissan Altima No Heat or A/C, nissan altima, vacuum hose

My granddaughter pwns a 95 Nissan Altima GXE. The blower for the heat/air blows fine in all positions. The controls for heat/ a/c and upper/lower diversion of heat/ a/c as well as defrost do not work at all, it just stays putting out the air in the same location. I hope that you can help us as she is a young single mom that can't afford much.

The problem is either a vacuum hose that is disconnected or the control on the dash.  Those are the two most common causes.  The vacuum hose connects through the firewall and runs to the back of the control.  Usually it gets disconnected if someone installs an aftermarket radio or someone messing around under the hood.
