Nissan Repair: 2000 Nissan Pathfinder squealing, nissan pathfinder, alternator belt

Question
I just had my timing belt, water pump, and 3 new belts replaced and a few hours after I brought it home and went to drive it there was this squealing noise when I apply gas and when I am slowing up so now I am wondering why it is doing this since it has never done it before.  Thanks

Answer
Susan,

The shop needs to tighten the belts.  Probably the alternator belt is the culpret.  It is just a matter of tightening the belts a bit.  They did not want to over tighten the belts so they were trying to be noce to your Pathfinder.  Again, it is just a matter of tightening the belts a bit.
