Nissan Repair: 90 maxima w/ problem, rear brakes, turn signals

i have recently bought a 90 maxima and the E brake does not work! what can i do?
Also, the blinkers do not work either. what can i do?

On the emergency brake it is probably the rear brakes need replaced and then the cables for the brake handle need to be adjusted.

The blinkers could be the flasher unit under the dash or the headlight switch itself.  Flasher is really cheap so replace that first.  Since it is seventeen years old it would be a good idea to replace the flasher anyway.  You can check to see if the emergency flashers work.  If they do then you know it is the flasher for the turn signals.
