Nissan Repair: misfire cylinder 1 200sx, 1996 nissan 200sx, spark plug wires

Question
i have a 1996 nissan 200sx se-r.  I put in a air intake and new spark plug and plug wires not to long ago.  Myy check engline light has been on for a long time, but i knew what the problem was, it was an o2 sensor.  When i had the check engine light checked again it said i had a misfire in cylinder 1, egr valve, and knock sensor and o2 sensor was bad.  I put on a new rotor, distributor cap and cleared the codes.  The same codes came back.  I went through and got different spark plugs, cleared the code and the same codes came back.  I'm to the point where i don't know where to go with this.  Is it because of the air intake, spark plug wires, compression, fuel injector.  I just don't know....Please help??

Answer
Paul,

You will need an O2 sensor and a knock sensor to get rid of the two codes.  The cylinder one code could go away with the change out the two items.  If it does not swap the plug with another cylinder and see if the problem follows the spark plug.  If it does you found your problem.  If not then do a compression check to see if the compression is down on that hole.
