Nissan Repair: engine swap, nissan pathfinder, driveline components

I have a quick question. I have a 1987 Nissan Pathfinder, with the Z24 4 cylinder in it. I was wanting to know if I would be able to swap with the V6? If it would bolt to the trans, and if all the electrics would hook up properly?

Yes and no.  The engine, trans, and driveline components will swap in.  But, you better have the doner vehicle baecause you are going to need the harness and computer as well as some of the power steering lines to make it fit your vehicle and the cross members to hold things in and fuel lines and connections.  Best to get the doner vehicle and match things up.  This has worked best for me and it is cheaper too since one part that you miss would cost a bunch to track down.
