Nissan Repair: 1999 nissan altima drive belt idler pully, pulley bolt, nissan altima

Question
How do you remove & replace the drive belt idler pulley?  Its bearing is near locked up.  I removed alt, water pump (bearing also shot), but the idler pulley is to close to the wheel well to remove it.  The plate that it is mounted to has a long bolt that I cannot get out, it hits the motor mount.  Do I have to pull the motor to get at this thing, any suggestions?

Answer
John,

No, just remove the pulley itself and then remove the bolts that hold the bracket the pulley is connected to.  Yes, it sucks, but take all the bolts out that hold the pulley bracket and you should be fine.  I ended up taking the long bolt out and the pulley bolt to get to the bolts that required removal to get the pulley bracket off.
