Nissan Repair: URGENT! 1998 Maxima GLE, maxima gle, anwsers

have you had any bad encounters with this car? can it go further then 200,000?

i have never owned a maxima, but i have owned a sentra, pulsar and im currently driving a 240sx.  nissan quality is excellent as far as longevity of the motors and transmissions.  the sentra was pushing 260k, the pulsar had 195k, and my 240 has 172k.  i would have no doubt at all on this car if you are looking at long term high milage ownership.  it depends on the price asking and the current mileage, but i wouldnt have any doubts.  as far as encounters...ive never owned a maxima, i couldnt tell you exactly.  theres a lot of information in maxima forums.  i would do some searching on google or metacrawler for maxima forums and you would find much more specific anwsers to your questions.  nice car btw.
