The combo CD/tape player Bose radio in my car isn't powering on. I've checked the fuse and it looked fine. What else could be the problem?

If the fuse in the panel is good then the internal fuse to the radio has blown.  This will require removal of the unit and then have a shop change out the internal fuse.  Now, remember that there was something that took out the fuse so that component that is internal to the radio would have to be repaired too.  If it were me it would be more cost effective to get an aftermarket radio/CD player.
