Nissan Repair: 91 nissan se 1.6ltr, 3speed automatic, neutral safety switch, shift linkage

battery is good, had it checked, but still wont start.  it did start once but the batter turned over very slow.  there were times when i would have to move the shift forward a little and then it would start.  was wondering if it could possibly be the nuetral safety switch.also where would this be located at.

If you can move the shifter and the car will start then the neutral safety switch is going out.  It is on the transmission where the shift linkage connects.  Just make sure that when you wiggle the car starts otherwise it is probably the starter itself.
