Nissan Repair: me again, blowing the fuses, road debris

Question
i'm the one with the 94 altima that has a bad transmission computer. while i was testing it the other day i decided to look at my fuse box and noticed that two of the fuses that are labeled for the electrical parts are blowing the fuses as soon as i put them in or when i turn the power on.  they are used for the transmission circuit but even with the computer disconnected the fuses still blow.  i was wondering if you had any information about testing the circuit and finding out why the fuses are blowing out.

Answer
Scott,

If the fuses are blowing even with the computer disconnected leads me to think the wiring has been damaged or is shorted.  I would start at the connector to the computer and work my way back up the harness.  I ahve found that road debris or a cooked converter can melt wiring or road debris can cut it and short it.
