Nissan Repair: electrical, fuse panel, high mileage

my 3yr old after market radio in my 95 maxima (224000mi) blacked out while on the highway. since then I only have power on the driver door(windows and locks) antenna and remotes don't work. guessing a ground wire burned out but don't know where to start. HELP!!!

congratulations on the high mileage!  Nissan quality :)  if these all happened at once, im thinking that a fuse is blown under the dash.  i would open the fuse panel and find your radio fuse and pull that to see if the fuse has blown.  if so, then i think you found your problem.  while your at it, check them all, you never know with electrical.  btw, theres a reason this popped, it may be old (considering miles) or you may have a problem with your deck or behind your deck.  if you had this wired into your factory wiring, i would pull the deck and check to see if the electrical tape came loose and theres no wires touching.  im hoping that you installed or had someone install this with the connection piece, wiring can be difficult to trace.  good luck and let me know what you find out.  xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
