Nissan Repair: 86 Maxima weak spark and no fuel `, fuel pump relay, fuel pump

A week ago I had my timing belt changed on my 86 Maxima. The mechanic can not get any spark or a very weak spark and say he can't get any fuel to engine. He changed the coil and distributor. I am not sure if the weak spark is into the coil or out of the coil

I would first check the fuel pump relay and bridge the wires under the hood to make sure the fuel pump is working.  If no fuel pump then check to see if the fuel pump works when you directly wire it.  On the coil issue I would look at the wires going to the coil.  In start mode you should have twelve and in run you should have nine.  Probably the ignition switch going bad.  Email me back if you need more.
