Nissan Repair: charging pipe, dipstick tube, level indicator

I need to add ATF and the manual said add it to the charging pipe. Where is the charging pipe of a 96 sentra? Thanks.

Find the dipstick tube on the transmission.  Close to the driver's side of the engine where the transmission and it meets up.  With the car running, in park, on a level surface pull the dipstick out.  Now, wipe the end off where the level indicator is.  now, reinsert it and pull it out and read the level.  Add a pint at a time until it is at the proper level.  Remember not to overfill it as it will cause the fluid to foam and that will burn up the transmission.  Having it too low will do the same thing since it would suck air and let the clutches and bands slip.  Just take your time and ater adding a pint, put the stick back in and be sure to seat it fully and pull it back out and check the level until it is full.
