Nissan Repair: Air in Cooling System, nissan frontier, frontier 2

I changed the heater hose lines on my 1999 Nissan Frontier 2.4l.  In the process air has gotten trapped in the cooling system.  How can I purge the air from the system? Thank you in advance, Al

Al,

Find the highest point on the cooling system and loosen the hose and let the air out and retighten the clamp.  Also, it will take several drive cycles to get all the air out.  Run the car on the highway with the heater on and then let it cool down and refill the tank and radiator.  Repeat a couple of times and you should be done.
