Nissan Repair: 1995 Pathfinder Will not start, unit voltage, code email

Question
Hi, I have a '95 Pathfinder that my son put into the mud and water...it ran for a few days with a little spitting and sputtering but now it turns over but will not start.  I have looked at the flashing diode under the seat with the ignition turned to run and it flashes continuosly.  I lookd at a code website and it said "Improper A/T Control Unit Voltage to ECM" if the diode flashes indefinitely.  Does this make any sense to you and what exactly does that mean?  I am trying to repair this myself but not exactly sure what to make of it.  Any insight that you could provide or other things to look for would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You kindly!

Answer
Jim,

My bet is some of the connectors under the hood and under the vehicle have water in them.  They are not ment to be submerged so you should umplug the speed sensor and blow it out with compressed air and do the same with transmission connector and the like.  Use WD40 and spritz the connectors after you blow them out.  Then disconnect the battery to clear the code.  Email me back with what you find.
