WHEN DO YOU RECOMMEND CHANGING THE TIMING CHAIN ON A 1997 NISSAN SENTRA

You really do not have a change interval for a timing chain.  When the chain starts making noise like when the guides and tensioners start going there will be a chain noise and that is when you need to change the chain.  Along with the chain you need to change the guides and tensioner.  But, that is only when the chain is making noise.
