Nissan Repair: Nissan Quest Loss of Acceleration, nissan quest, fuel injectors

1996 Nissan Quest with 116,000 miles.   The engine feels like its only hitting on five cylinders.  There’s a loss of acceleration, about three quarts of normal.  We’re thinking the fuel injectors need cleaning or the fuel pump needs replacement or the electronic ignition is malfunctioning.  No instrument panel lights indicate a problem and so far the car has not stalled.

I would check all you said.  First, change the plugs and the fuel filter and clean the throttle body.  Now, run some injector cleaner through the engine.  If you still have problems do an ohms check on the injectors and replace those out of range.
