Nissan Repair: 2000 Nissan Maxima, nissan maxima se, nissan maxima

I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE. I have had nothing but problems in the last year.First I had puttering and misfiring.After waisting 600.00 at Sheridan,the problem still existed and then the check engine light came on. After replacing ignition coils,tune-up,battery replacement,reman. starter,replace oxygen sensor and throttle,and rebuilding trans...NowI can't even start the car. It seems like it wants to start but it wont kick over.Please help me!After several calls to Nissan regarding misdiagnosis w/Sheridan(DE.)I am still without a working automobile. Do you have any suggestions????

I would have thought the coils would have been the problem with the misfire problem.  And, 2000 was a year for the Maxima with defective coils.  But, they fail long after warranty goes out.  Now, since you have had all those parts replaced I would check the fuel pressure as the pump is probably going out.  Or an injector or two is also along for the ride.  You see, when the pump fails sometimes trash makes it's way to the injectors.  But, I need you to describe to me what the car is doing.  Does it crank over but not start?  Does it crank over at all?  Email me back and we'll go from there.  I am really sorry you had problems at Sheridan Nissan.  I live in Las Vegas and have never had the experience in DE.  Nissan Corporate will not be able to help as they would with a new car.  The problem here is they will help since Sheridan is a Nissan dealership.  So, you have to keep up the heat and get a case number and continue to call and email and write and continue so they will respond.  I have even sent a letter to Carlos Ghosn the President of Nissan.  Letting him know how many Nissan cars I have owned and still do and if they want me to continue purchasing their product they better get the problem resolved.  Email me back and I'll see if we can get this resolved.  Remember, Nissan makes great cars and this is a rare occasion that one does this.  I love my 2000 Maxima and the 350Z.
