Nissan Repair: 2000 maxima se stalling, vacuum leak, stop signs

Question
My engine light came on. I took it a repair shop.  They said it was EGR value.  Replaced it.  One week later, the car was stalling at stop signs and red lights.  (This had not happened before I had the vale replaced.)  I took it back they said I had a small vacuum leak and needed to replace the gasket.  $700 later, the car was running better before I had the repairs done.   Any ideas on how to fix the issue?

Answer
Bryan,

Check for codes.  Checker or Autozone will check the codes for free.  I think the coils are defective.  I just replaced another set on a 2000 Maxima.  I have a 2000 Maxima SE and it had to have the coils replaced.  There was a service bulletin on your car discussing the replacement of the coils.  You can get them from courtesynissan.com or rockauto.com to save money if you can wait for the delivery.
