the code is P1273, on the paper they gave me it also said: manufacturer contrl; Fuel Air Metering
they said i have to call the nissan dealer for that number.

how can i fix it? the car runs fine. just the light turned on. it turnd on once before, then it turnd off. now it turns on again. thank you very much!

Go to Autozone or Checker and get the code read for free.  Then, email me back with the code and I will let you know what you need to do to correct the problem.  The parts store will usually tell you what you need to replace and they will even turn the light off when you have replaced the defective part.

You are not going to like the cost but I think you have a bad mass air flow sensor and that should correct the problem.  You can go to Nissan to be sure before you replace it.  The following is the code and that references the mass air flow sensor.
