Nissan Repair: Fuel & Temp Gauges fail after warm up., nissan sentra, pencil eraser

Hi Von, I have a 88 Nissan Sentra 1.6L Carberated Automatic. For some reason my fuel and temp gauges quit working shortly after warm up and the radiator fan and tempature sensor stop working also. My fuses and fusable links look good. What would you suggest.

I would remove the cluster and clean the contacts on the connector and the cluster with a number 2 pencil eraser and reinstall the cluster and see if it was just a bad or corroded connection.  You have a pretty simple cluster so it should work.  If not the wrecking yard is an option to obtain another cluster for a substantial savings over a rebuilt unit...
