Question
In my 2000 frontier the gauges (speedo, tac, heat, fuel, odom) will stop
working every once in a while.  When I stop the truck and turn it off and on
again the problem is corrected.  Also If I continue driving the problem
corrects itself after a while.

Answer
Andrew,

The cluster connection needs to be cleaned or the cluster itself is defective.  There seems to be  acommon problem with the Frontier of your vintage.  Remove the cluster, clean the connections with the eraser from a number 2 pencil.  Lightly scrub both the cluster connection and the harness contacts and blow off the dust and reinstall.  If it works you are ahead of the game and if not I would look to the wrecking yard for a replacement cluster.
