Just wondering and hoping you will know? Im looking at buying a 96 nr3m terrano and it is a petrol and on the cap it says premium unleaded. What im wondering is, is it essiantial that i use premium or can i just use "91 unleaded"?????

If you use lower grade gasoline and it pings you will need to retard the timing and the performance will drop off.  If it does not ping you are ok to go.  But, I run premium in everything I have just to be safe.  The Maxima and the 350Z require it too.  Just remember that you do not want it to knock or you will hurt your engine.
