Nissan Repair: Brake, Tires, Heal/Cold, Gear and Engine oil, nissan pathfinder, auto terms

Question
I have four questions for you. I have nissan pathfinder 2003 (SE),engine V6 mileage 6500.
1) When the vechicle is at stationary and my foot is on the brake and when i start the vechicle and put it to drive, the moment i release the brake it makes a noise is like when the caliper is releasing from the wheel. So is causing that?
2) Anytime i speed and i step on the brake, the front tires shake and i feel it throught the steering. And the tires are new ones and recently aligned.
3)And when i start the vehicle during the cause of putting it ot reverse produce another noise like when something is cracking.
4)What is the best type of engine oil to use?

Please sorry i do not know much about vehicle, if i might have used the wrong auto terms.

Answer
Mambu,

The first and second questions are related in the fact that you need to have your front brakes and rotors replaced. This will wipe out those two. The third question is possibly a bad u-joint or play in the differential. Likely the u-joint though, it also could be suspension relaxing when the direction of weight distribution is changed. I or a trained tech would know the first time we heard it. I mean that if you take it to a shop, they could tell you in seconds exactly what it is. As for the fourth question, my preference of motor oil is... Castrol.
