Nissan Repair: Rotor bearing removal, wheel bearing grease, center bolt

Question
I have a 1997 Nissan XE pickup and I need to have the rotors cut.  I cannot seen to remove the rear rotor bearings the front bearings come of easy after removal of center bolt.  These bearings have a rubber lip.

Answer
Issac,

The inside rotor can be removed by placing the rotor back on the splindle and then putting the nut on until it is flush with the spindle and then pull the rotor off until the bearing makes contact with the nut push it back a little and yank it towards you and the bearing and dust seal will come out.  The other way is to turn the rotor face down and get a screwdriver and pry the seal out.  The first way I told you will save the dust seal and you can reuse it.  The screwdriver way bends the seal up and you have to purchase a new one.  Be sure to clean and repack the bearings with wheel bearing grease that is rated for disc brakes.  Otherwise, it will liquify and run off.
