Nissan Repair: Starting, cottman transmissions, electrical problem

Twice I started my 2003 Altima and had no acceleration, I had to shut it off then put in neutral and start it , Then I had acceleration as normal,

First, there should be a check engine light on. This will indicate a code is stored in the computer. This will give us an idea if it is an electrical problem or a serious internal transmission problem. If the CEL is on, then you will need to have your car scanned so we know what that code is. Cottman transmissions will do this for free. Second, what you are describing is a low pressure issue in the transmission. This could mean the fluid is low. If that's the case you are leaking. Transmissions don't use up fluid, it should always be full.
