Nissan Repair: 1992 Nissan NX2000 - rear brake drag, 1992 nissan nx2000, brake hose

Question
The right rear brake on my '92 NX2000 drags.  I put in new pads hoping it would solve the problem but didn't.  It must have been dragging for quite a while since the right pads were completely worn out and the left were fine.  I know it drags because after driving the rotor is hot while the other three are cold.  Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Justin, the caliper is sticking and probably needs to be replaced.  Or, you could rebuild it if you can get the parts.  Basically you get an O Ring and a dust seal.  Take the one caliper loose and leave the brake hose on it.  have someone pump the brake until the piston pops out and then if there is no rust on the piston put the new O Ring on and dust seal and push it back in.  To do this you will need to loose the bleeder to get the air to release.  Then bleed the system after you reinstall it.
