Nissan Repair: replacing center ventilator on 1999 sentra, plastic fins, flat blade

the right hand vent in the center of my 1999 sentra gxe is stuck: the plastic fins refuse to rotate when the little knob is moved. it's gotten to the point where some of the fins have dislodged or broken. basically, the right hand center ventilator is shot. i'd like to replace it myself. where would i find parts/info/diagrams etc to do so? thanks.

The wrecking yard is your cheapest bet.  The dealer will sell you the part but they will charge more.  You will need a screwdriver to remove the outlet and depending on how bad yours is you might have to remove the inner duct to get access.  Usually it only takes a small flat blade screwdriver.
