Nissan Repair: 05 Maxima door locks, programming parameters, customer desires

Question
Doors are locking by themselves.  Not all four, just the drivers. Sometimes all four. 95 outside, left car running went in friends house came out all four locked. Dealer said reprogrammed autolock feature, didn't stop it.  Have seen on internet that there was a serrvice bulletin about Nissan door locks.  Can't find it.

Thanks

Answer
Jim,

There are no service bulletins on this issue.  The following is a link to the 17 that are out there for your car.

If the doors lock by themselves I am sure the dealer can go in with the Consult II and look at the programming parameters and correct the problem.  There are setting for automatic lock as well as no lock and other nuances to what the customer desires.  Have your dealer get their Consult II guy to show you what is programmed into your body control module.  It is kind of cool to see what variations are available.  If your dealer does not know what I am talking about check out another dealer.
