Nissan Repair: 92 maxima missing on 3 cylinders, running on three, weight oil

1992 maxima running really rough, makes no difference to pull the back three plug wires.  Thanks

If the car is only running on three cylinders you need to check to see if the cap and rotor are messed up or the wires or plugs are defective.  Check the wires by getting a paper clip and hold the end a quarter of an inch from the block and see if it sparks.  If it does then the plugs are probably defective.  If no spark replace the wires, cap and rotor.  If this does not correct the problem you need to be looking at injectors.  Three in a row seem strange to me but I have seen multiple injectors get plugged up so I would do an ohms check against the front injectors.  That is, check what the front injectors read and compare it to the back.  if there is a bog difference replace the back injectors.  I like going to the wrecking yard and get a complete set and use the best of the bunch.  Be sure to purchase new o-rings to install them and be sure to use 30 weight oil to lubricate the o-rings to aid in an easy installation.
