Nissan Repair: overheated 95 Maxima GLE now it hesitates, maxima gle, blown headgasket

While driving home last night my engine started getting hot. I cut my AC off and stopped at a gas station and I added water. I drove it home after a few more minutes of letting it cool down. Now my engine is hesitating everytime I give it gas. It I lightly press my gas pedal it will gradually pick up speed but it will not go any faster than 60mph. If I press it down hard it jerks and hesitates to pick up speed.

It could be a couple of things like a bad sensor from getting it too hot.  Go to Autozone or Checker and have the codes read for free.  Second, you could have a blown headgasket or some other internal leak that would be really small but it would contribute to the hesitation.  Lastly, the converter could avhe melted internallp, partially blocking the exhaust.  Check these things out and email me back as to what you find.
