Nissan Repair: MAF sensor on 2000 Sentra 1.8, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

I read one of the previous posts you replied to.  I believe I need to replace the MAF sensor (engine misses at idle, otherwise runs fine), can you tell me where it is located on the engine.

The mass air flow sensor on you car is located where the air filter box connects to the hose that goes to the engine.  It is between the two of them.  However, you did not say a code was present and if this is the case I would think the coils are going bad.  The 2000 Maxima, I have one personally, had an issue with coils.  So, I would check things out before plunking down $300 bucks on a mass airflow sensor.
