Nissan Repair: Pathfinder real sway bar link bracket, sway bar link, rear sway bar

Question
I just spoke to the Nissan dealer today and he said they do not supply these brackets.  I would rather not try to salvage an old one from a wrecking yard, since it is welded onto the chassis as well.  Can you double check if this is indeed something available or not?

Thanks,  Henry.

Question -
I have a 1990 pathfinder SE.  Very rusty - rear sway bar link bracket attached to chassis rusted and broke off.  Mechanics not sure what to do.  Can I buy this bracket from Nissan, get them to grind the old one off, and then weld a new one on?

Thanks, Henry.

Answer -
Henry,

Yes, you can cut off the old one and weld on a new one from Nissan or get one from a wrecking yard.  Now, I would check the other side to make sure it is not close to failure too.

Answer
Henery,

If the factory does not have it available then the only option is to fabricate your own or get one from a wrecking yard.  Remember, your is over ten years old and they do not keep parts much after that.  I have excellent luck getting things from a wrecking yard like suspension components.
