Nissan Repair: Please help with 02 heater circuit malfunction, nissan dealer, ignition coils

Question
Hello, I have a 2000 maxima SE with 74,000 miles on it and I got a check engine light on. I took it to Autozone and scanned it and it read that it was an 02 heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2);  I think it said P0141. I found out which sensor it was from the dealer and I bought the sensor at another store because i can get it wholesale, and I gave it to another mechanic to replace it, and after everything, the mechanic said the light came on again and that problem is not the sensor itself. The next day he told me he spoke to a nissan dealer mechanic and they said it might have to do with the ignition coils? Is this true, because it scanner did not give the error for the coils? Can you please tell me what is really going on with this problem and how to fix it?

Answer
Perry,

Yes, the coils are bad and replace them all.  It sucks but that is the problem.  I personally have a 2000 Maxima and it corrected the problem with mine.  I bought them from courtesynissan.com on-line and saved a bundle.  You can do it yourself and save even more as the coils are on top and all are easy to get to.  Change the plugs while you are at it.
