Nissan Repair: 2000 Nissan Sentra dies when idling, mass airflow sensor, nissan sentra

Question
My follow up question was accidentally dismissed as a repeat so I am re-asking it.

My 2000 Nissan Sentra has the check engine light on.  Autozone read the codes and said it had three codes 1)bank2 rich, 2) misfire on cylinder 4 3)catalytic converter error.

Per your previous advise, I just replaced the coil on cylinder 4 which resolved the misfire as far as I can tell.  However, when I am at a stop sign or just idling, the car wants to die.  I have been told to try the airflow sensor or the O2 sensor.  I believe I have several O2 sensors on this vehicle.  How do I tell which one and do you think this is the problem?

Answer
Jerry,

Sorry for my mistake on the delete.  The car has two oxygen sensors.  The first is on the engine side of the converter and the other one is behind the converter.  But, if one of these failed the computer would catch it and tell you which one it was.  My bet and personal experience has shown it to be the mass airflow sensor.  I have seen many that fail on the Sentra and never throw a code.  Be sure to disconnect the battery for about five minutes while replacement of the MAF is completed.  never disconnect it while the battery is hooked up.  Even with the key out it could cause computer problems.  Also, disconnecting the battery will clear the code.
