Nissan Repair: Dome light short and more?, brake light switch, light fuse

Question
My 1981 280zx (non-turbo) has decided to give me a week of electrical problems.  All at once, my brake lights, hazard lights and turn signal lights went out.  Looking on this forum, I figured that one probem might be a defective brake light switch, and it was.  Now I plan to change the hazard and turn signal flashers tomorrow, once i find them somewhere under the driver's side dash.  (The fuses are fine, so i am guessing it must be the flashers.  Any other suggestions?)

However, in the process, I discovered a short in my dome light fuse. Everytime i put in a new fuse, it blows instantly.  The dome light looks OK, as does the spot light.  I will replace the dome light buld just in case, but if there is still a short, what do you suggest?

Thanks, Mr. Von Sudderth, for volunteering your expertise and for your advise.

Answer
The flasher and turn indicators run through the turn signal indicator and since your is this old I would think that was the problem.  But, being the cheap person that I am I would go with the flashers first and if replacement of them does not do the trick then it is the switch on the column.

The door switches are known to corrode on your year model.  So, I would take them off and clean and inspect them to make sure the short is not there.
