Nissan Repair: Electric window 2001 Nissan Xterra, nissan xterra, functional problem

One day my Window made an abnormal noise when putting it down,  the Next day, we can't get it to Move Up and down any longer (Drivers Door).

Where should I look first to Diagnosis the Window functional problem?  

I really need instructions on How to Remove/Install the Door Panel.

The window motor will need to be replaced.  Now, the strange noise could have been the regulator so you will need to look inside the door to see if the regulator has come off track.  But, for my money I would say the motor has gone out.  If you press the switch up or down does it still make noise?  If it does it is the regulator.  If there is no noise it is the motor.
