Nissan Repair: power windows, control switch, nothing works

I recently tried to jumpstart my 2001 pathfinder, when i did the
battery blew and burned some fuses in my suv (the main battery
and audio fuses). My power windows also began to work strangely,
one day they rolled down, the next they did not. The drivers side
controls could be used to roll down only the back 2 windows and
sometimes the passenger side window, never the drivers window.
All the other buttons worked to roll down their respective
window...this went on for a week, but now nothing works at all. The
lights on the buttons dont work now either. HELP!

The battery shorted out and took out those fuses and hopefully the fuses protected the electrical components.  Check nad replace all fuses that are bad and for the master control switch replace it as these are known to go out.  I have replaced three in the Maxima I have.  If they ever get wet they will fail eventually.
