Nissan Repair: Bypass Immobiliser, fuelpump, nissan primera

Question
I had an accident last November and didn't run my car, a 1996 Nissan Primera, for 4 months. My son then tried it but the battery was dead and it appears that the immobiliser has kicked in, stopping the fuel coming from the fuelpump. Can this be bypassed or can I override it someway.I have already replaced the battery.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Kind Regards,
Vince

Answer
Vince,

I think you are going to have to go to the dealer to get the key reprogrammed.  I suppose you could wire the fuel pump around the theft deterent system.  But, the proper way to do it is to get the key reprogrammed into the computer.  And, that takes a Consult II scantool.
