Nissan Repair: Fan Belts, serpentine belts, center bolt

I have a 1997 Maxima,I wanted to know to remove thr serpentine belts and power steering belt.i loosen the belt tensioner(the bolt that connects to the tensioner)but it did not loosen at all.Is there a diagam or step-by-procedures.

Loosen the center bolt on the pulley and that will let the belt loose.  The procedure is to loosen the center bolt a turn or two and then use the other bolt to tighten or loosen.  On the power steering it is different and the pump pivots.  So, you have to get under the car to loosen the pivot bolt along with the lock bolt before loosening the pump.  Go to nissanhelp.com and you can download lots of diagrams for most Nissan cars.
