Nissan Repair: EGR Valve, metal tubing, rubber tubing

Question
I just changed the EGR valve on my 96 Sentra.  Problem is that the smaller flare fitting did not turn independently of the metal tubing it tightens to the valve, so the rubber tubing that slipped over the metal tubing tore when I removed the flare fitting.  I cannot for the life of me find the other torn end of rubber tubing to reconnect it to the EGR valve.  Where does the smaller connection lead to?  This would be an easy fix if I knew somebody else with a similar car...

Thanks.

Answer
Joel,

Look on the hood decal and the sticker has a picture of the routing of the hose.  It is one of the only uses for that sticker.  If you have difficulty finding the routing you need to be looking for an amplifier/controller that the hose connects to.  It does not connect directly to the intake.  If you have problems email me back and I will see if I can find a photograph to email you.
