Question
How can I remove rigth front axle from Nissan Quest 1997 with out ABS?

Answer
M,

You will need to remove the wheel, brake pads, pad hanger, caliper, rotor, and unbolt the strut from the spindle.  Then, take the large nut off the end of the CV driveshaft and move the spindle out enough to get the CV driveshaft out.  You will need a large screwdriver to pop the shaft out of the transmission.  There you have it.  It is fun and with power tools it takes about an hour.  Without powertools you will be looking at four hours to remove and install.  Mark the bolts on the strut with paint so you can install the spindle in the same spot.  That way it does not drive too bad when you take it in for an alignment.  Yes, you will have to get it aligned after you are done as I have never seen one that goes together the same way where you would not require an alignment.  This is due to the removal of the spindle from the strut.
