I have a 2003 nissan altima...It was recently recked and now it runs kinda loud. I had the tires changed and the car aligned but it still runs loud (by the way this was suggested by a dealer) What could be another problem why it runs loud?
Answer -
Ed,

When you say it runs kind of loud I assume you mean that there is tire roar?  If this is the case the car is running off track.  The car may be in align but the car runs crooked and you are getting tire noise as a result.  Have someone drive your car and folow it and see if it runs straight down the road.  Remember that the Altima is a unibody and it is easy to straighten.  Check it out.

Answer
The body shop that fixed the car in the first place should be responsible to check the frame for proper straightness as well as perform another alignment.  An alignment is $100 for a four wheel at a good shop and the frame is probably $500 just for starters.  Because, if they crack the paint straightning the frame there will be additional costs.
