Nissan Repair: timing chain marks on 97 altima, arrow pointer, nissan altima

how do i line up the timing chain marks on the 1997 nissan altima 2.4l?

Answer
The crank should be on Top Dead Center before you take it a part.  The cam position should have the dot lined up with the arrow pointer.  It is difficult to see from the end.  But, if you have a straight line of sight you should see it.  Look at the holes on the cam gear and you can see the marks.
