Nissan Repair: Starter, nissan frontier, frontier pickup

I have a 99 Nissan Frontier pickup, and when I start it, it will make a screeching noise like a belt needs to be tighten, but it only does it when I start it.

Check the alternator belt for being loose or it might be old and need to be replaced.  I just a did a Maxima with 109,000 miles on it and the belts were original and slick.  Get new belts and tighten them to specifications.  An inch of play on the long side when you press down on the belt.
